Five Finger Death Punch (sometimes abbreviated as FFDP or 5FDP) is an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada.

The band's name refers to the martial arts film Zhao - The Invincible (1972). Lead singer Ivan Moody often holds his hands in a pose intended to imply that invented kung fu gesture during live performances, instead of a fist or the metal horns. (Source: Wikipedia.de)
