Marduk is a black metal band formed in Norrköping, Sweden in 1990 by Morgan Steinmeyer Hakansson. The name derives from the Babylonian city god Marduk. Throughout their history, they have always managed to explore new extremes and push boundaries. War horrors, death, doom: MARDUK have always dedicated themselves to the darkest chapters of mankind and have composed the soundtrack to their downfall countless times.
