Die Blutjungs are a pop band from Aschaffenburg. The band describes its musical style itself as "splatterpop", but individual songs can also be classified as Schlager, punk, country, new wave, gothic or metal. The band was formed in 1996 as a side project to Carlos Mogutseu, for whom Martin Grossmann was already writing music and lyrics. Hugo left the band in the fall of 2000, allegedly because of a prison stay in El Salvador, and was replaced by Jochen U., who later had to make way for the current guitarist Tito.
According to the self-portrayal, all members are still 18 years old.
