Carlos Mogutseu is a pop band from Aschaffenburg. The band describes their music style as "soda pop", but individual songs can also be classified as pop, punk, country, new wave, gothic or metal. The band was founded in 1992 as a purely acoustic guitar band by Martin, Sabine, Thorsten, Tony and Udo. Martin Grossmann has been writing his own lyrics and music for the band since 1993. Sabine Kunkel left the band in 1993 and singer Thorsten Ullrich in 1994. From 1995 Billy Mack played the electric bass, two years later Dierk Stenger completed the band on drums. After further changes, in which up to eight people were on stage at times (Andi, Heike, Kerstin), the group shrank down to a classic four-person rock band by 2011.
