When Sauerwein und Band, the Aschaffenburg rock group that nobody knew how to classify, were allowed to perform their own revue in 1993 in the Aschaffenburg City Theater, it was a novelty. Until then - and probably not since then - there was never again this in the small, venerable municipal theater of this town on the Bavarian Untermain. For this reason alone, the brilliant performance could immediately be described as legendary.
